She is recognised for walking down the Victoria’s Secret runway while pregnant and even quickly bouncing back into shape to star in their latest adverts post-birth.
And it looks like one of Alessandra Ambrosio’s slimming secrets has been revealed.
Instead of tucking into fattening ice cream for a sweet treat, the model was spotted enjoying some non-fat gelato in Santa Monica on Friday.

The 31-year-old celebrated the end of the working week by taking her four-year-old girl to enjoy some Italian ices in the Californian city.
Enjoying part of their purchase on a counter inside the shop, the pair decided to take the rest on the road with them.
Using the street as a second catwalk, Ambrosio – who also has one-year-old son Noah with fiancé Jamie Mazur – showed just how slender her legs are in peppermint colour skinny jeans.

She teamed the fitted trousers with a cream vest top which featured frilly detail around the middle fastenings.
Alessandra donned sandals on her feet and wore her highlighted locks out.
Meanwhile her little one was clearly excited for Halloween already, as she fashioned a T-shirt which read ‘I’m really a vampire’.

Earlier in the day she was seen strolling in the same area wearing a different ensemble.
She kept a grey sweater tied around her waist and wore a sheer white vest with diamond-patterned trousers underneath.
The parent looked great as she accessorised with aviator sunglasses and a Givenchy bag.

She has claimed that as well as exercise, diet is key to keeping her looking good, and she filled up on fresh green juices, kale salads and fish throughout her second pregnancy.
Treats were not completely off the menu though: 'My daughter loves cupcakes so we’ll share… but only sometimes!' she said.
