fter a brush with death, Sharon Stone decided to take life a bit easier,  realising it was possible to look great without sticking to a punishing regime.

And her new laid back attitude towards life seems to be working wonders today she as treated herself to a frozen yoghurt.

Wearing a skintight pair of blue jeans and leopard-print platform loafers the stunning 54-year-old pulled off a carefree, youthful look with aplomb.

Sharon's world fell apart when she suffered a brain hemorrhage in 2001, said to be the result of over-exercising, and needed emergency surgery.

The Basic Instinct star has now eased up on her diet and fitness regime saying: 'I work out only as much as I have to, to not be a fat ass.'

'I chase three children to stay in shape. I don't have a regular routine but when I notice things aren't quite where I want them to be, I step it up.'

'You park further from the door, you take the stairs instead of the elevator.'

Sharon's youthful appearance may also have something to do with the fact she dating 27-year-old model Martin Mica.

The ordained minister and Buddhist is in the middle of filming What About Love? alongside Andy Garcia has also taken a backseat in the Hollywood fame game.

Speaking to CNN she said: 'The first moment when you become famous you're like 'Yay! This is so great, it's so exhilarating, it's so fabulous!'

'And then it doesn't stop and you're like 'Oh hell! Oh no! Not even for a minute.'
